Roger Song was a Researcher and Consultant in Ministry of Foreign Affairs Of China; Economist, Investment Manager in a major enterprise group (Shenzhen Nanyou Group) in Shenzhen.

He also worked in Hong Kong as an operational leader in Shum Yip Holdings Group & its system. Successively held positions:
- Director & General manager, Shum Yip (SZ) Trading Ltd, a subsidiary of Shum Yip Holdings Group.
- Chairman, Shum Yip Steel Plant, a subsidiary of Shum Yip Holdings Group.
- Director and Deputy CEO, Shum Yip Holdings Group.
- Chairman & CEO, Guangzhou Wealthwin Venture Capital Investment Ltd.
- Director & General Manager, Yangjiang HorseJet Edible Oil Ltd.

Now, Roger Song is concurrently holding positions: Deputy CEO (COO) of China Gas (LPG) Asian Headquarters, and Assistant President of China Gas Holdings LTD (HK Listing 0384).
