Cristiano Oliveira graduated in Chemistry in 1995 and got his PhD in Organic Chemistry in 2000.
From 2000 to 2001, he worked in research projects for ceramics, steel and oil industries in Brazil. In 2001, he joined the Mineral Technology Center – CETEM (one of the R&D institutions from the Science and Technology Ministry in Brazil), working mainly in ore characterization projects. In 2004, he joined PETROBRAS and became part of the LPG Trading Team in 2005. From then on, he has been dealing with brazilian LPG domestic market and also LPG international trading.
He has been based in Petrobras London Office since March 2010.
